The Show Must Go On!

I stopped and I cried
Stayed there for a while
Though late, but I did realise.
Its only me, who should rise.

Carried by my protagonist
I took up the thyme
A long way to go
One mile at a time

The star resist to twinkle
And the flower to redolence
I fight a battle within
The battle of my pelutance

Now with a false smile
And a laugh of delusion
The heart beats harder
The show must go on.
