Misunderstood

Life,

it is misunderstood,
Like a foreign language
you can not speak.
Or,
A name that you
can not pronounce,
but are forced to do so
in a crowded room.

Life,

it is disappointing,
Like the firefly
that you desire to catch
but,
it flickers
and flutters
flying,
just out of your reach.

Life,

She says her life
is so lonely
as she sits
and watches,
The only one she loves
drink his life away,
and then write it down
in words.
