Reaching Out

I'm not lying, tonight I'm not hiding
Though I feel I fade away
Slowly with every breath
While people come, people go
Rows and rows of skin and bones
Walking, running, staying still,
All their eyes are lokking ridght through me
And I wish I found a way
To make things better, make things great
To break the circle I create
And make my deamons cry
And die

I'm gathering it all again
To the one I once called myself,
But I know I won't get there,
Still yesterday has come to fill me
Up and down I have been
Since the day I broke my skin,
A thousand pieces spread around,
Soaking wet, fire burning up
My dreams and my deepest sins
Everything I cannot be,
The part of the world I live
With my eyes shut.
