Think Of Me

When you see the young fawn frollicking in the soft green lush grass, think of me.
When you hear the joyful melodies from the bluejays, think of me.
Don't dwell on the time of me not being with you
Embrace the time we've had
When you feel anger brewing,
Think of me and I will calm your soul and mind
When tears well in your eyes,
Think of me and I will dry your eyes
Think of all the memories we had and hold them deep in your heart
When you gaze into the stars that twinkle in the night sky, think of me.
When you hear the young child's infectious laughter, think of me.
When you feel as if you've strayed from your path, I will guide you back.
When it's too dark for you to see the way, I will light your path.

I will still pick you up when you fall like I have when you took your first steps
I will still listen to your stories like I did everyday you came home from school
I will still be here with you
And I will never leave you.
