What mind had spray'd existence forth and birth'd the misty dream?
Whose little thoughts and memories the gods themselves esteem?
Outside of time and space and matter's universal seam,
the mind of Azathoth creates a happy, restful dream.
The icy halls of eons gone, Tawil at-Umr's seal.
Beyond the slowest posts of life, most ancient shore of steel.
Thereafter lies the world of is, where senses cannot feel,
I've seen the hazy hues of colours that were never real.
And in my wand'ring I have glimps'd an esoteric thought,
