my grandma hands tell a story, families love to hear
tall tales of a family, love, and through the years how to keep both near
a novel filled with many chapters starting at a young age
her hands are now a sequence of books as she approach her finale stage

Deep down inside hidden within
hides the pain of my soul, dark memories from back then
so fresh in my heart they seem never to leave me alone
and just when i think happiness is mine, pain reminds me its not gone
...

No matter how much Ive seem to grown
pure love from your heart you have always shown
from changing diapers to wiping tears
riding bikes, soothing away all my scared of the dark fears
...

Dear God I ask that you continue to hold my hand
for it is your will to do as you plan
i confess that im often hard headed and with my eyes open stii cannot see
somedays without my control i let life's struggles get the best of me
...

if i should one day unexpectly die
and not beable to say my last goodbye
i want no long faces and hurtful tears
painful cries and sadful years
...

I pray for every older person I meet
each and every young person I greet
I pray for every obstacle that comes their way
and whatever pain they feel, God bless them with a brighter day
...

precious angels deep in your dreams far away
I watch you while you sleep and by your side i will forever stay
