A New Dawn

With the beat of the drum echoes
through the midnight air,
the rhythm of the dance begins.
Their strong voices
keep evil forces around their fire.
They celebrate the ritual
through music and dance..
Their words are exploding
and send the echoes on the wind.
Until the horizon open to show
the new sun,
Until the ruins can be seen,
as mighty stonewalls,
holding
the mystery of death.
