I Am So Amazed

I Am So Amazed

William O. Adams

When I look at the Heavens made by God's hands
I am so amazed that He loves a man like me.
I seem so very low when I look at my Lord,
When I think of His greatness; His love so free.

When I was a little boy out in the country,
I looked at the sky and considered His glory,
When I heard His Word faithfully preached,
When I read aloud His wonderful story.

I am so amazed at His wondrous love for me,
That Jesus came from Heaven to live
Among fallen, sinful people like me,
And finally, His precious sinless life to give.

I could respond no differently than to give
My life into His hands to save
My body, my soul, my life, my all.
All that I have or will have to Him I gave.
