Flash Of Loves Light

I struggle to see
In the Flash of Loves Light
As I bravely look on
My eyes I hold tight

Then a figure appears
It is you that I see
In the Flash of Loves Light
Your love sets me free

I look to ten years past
To the day I met a cashier
My life once filled with fog
A sudden light made clear

We knew right away
That we were meant to be
The joining of our lives
Is all we could foresee

A meeting was made
In the oddest of places
At a table in Denny’s
We stated our cases

On a napkin you wrote
Everything we agreed
Our life we were building
And all that we would need

Less than a year later
The predetermined demanding
Less than a year later
Our future expanding

In our bedroom I waited
Helping you give birth to our boy

In our bedroom I waited
Overwhelmed with shear joy

Under the gaze of Sirius
That shined from afar
We named him Noquisi
After the brightest star

Four years later
The predetermined demanding

Born red with round cheeks
A truly perfect vision
We named her Sali

The light is so bright
It is wondrously blinding
Yet so brilliantly clear
Of our beginnings, reminding
