A little helpless,
The feeling of falling
but slowly,
In slow motion, like
The floating leaf in the wind,
Whipped, thrown, twirled.
No control
Over it's fate,
Or mine.
Watching its downfall,
Or mine?
Yielding to gravity
And my failure
Only the ground will have me
