Love Me, Love You

«You remember that time I fell?
You were here to lift me up,
but I was afraid of this fall.


Then I turned into myself,
to analyze that fall,
so I pushed you away
acknowledging that this
wasn't about you, but Me.


I had to give reason to this fall,
maintain a balance inside me
and get rid of the fear of falling again.
So I saw brighter days, listened more,
spoke less, learned about fights
and rising ups,
but the most important,
I was reborn again.


Ashes made me what I am now.
These ashes down there where
the reconstructing matter that would give
birth to a new Phoenix.
That's me who needed this fall
to come into my life and make
a better version of me.


To make who I really Am.
And I am here now,
just needed self-love time
and realize that I am on my feet again,
with smile and gratitude on my face.
I know I let you down, but remember
this was not because of you,
but the reason was me.


I love me now more than earth
loves her roots, and I love
everything that stands around
me and the reasons that I create to
give meaning to me and I love you
and everything
around you.


Because my lesson was love and nothing else.
Love that means acceptance, exploration,
sensing, belonging and giving a reason.
Reason to breath first and then
fly and then rise and increase and
never stop loving the idea
that the limit is only "Me".
