Silent Visitor

Once in a silent night,
I passed by a dark room.
Dark and desolated;
lonely and forlorn.

No one knows whose room it was,
but all of them knew its silent history.

A beautiful young lady they say,
used to ener this room.
A shallow cry they hear
every night till dawn.

When daylight comes,
no one's in sight
but a trace of tear
and a broken rose.

I enter the room
and in the mirror I look.
In it was a melancholic smile.

I went into the window,
and a tear fell on
down, down on the dusky table.
I felt pain reverberates in my heart.
So much pain that i want to spit it out.

The rose fell,
down on the rivulets of blood.
Blood, my crimson blood.
Then there i realized....
I am the secret woman.
