Plain Undisturbed Linen Speaks The Truth

Its as i have lived this nite before
though i never thought as it has been always
Yes we have been apart before and after
Our worldly responsibility and all that, there were reasons many
This time its chilling and I miss the warmth of your presence

And I try to sleep one more insomniac night without you
Close my eyes and I reach out my arms but embrace the emptiness left by you
that sweet fragrance and the slender curves of yours
Which I felt even when the lights were turned off
The endless talks that you always had for me before going to sleep

Sometimes I would wake up in the middle of the night
Just to listen to the things you say while you are in deep sleep
Would just smile and then go back to sleep after kissing your forehead
Now I know in the morn the rustle of the bedsheet left by you and me will be missing
I wake to my usual self and the plain undisturbed linen speaks the truth

You always gave me more as i always hungered for your love
You always had returned crygin to me after many fights...not this time
I had tasted your tears and made many broken promises
Now I wait an endless wait but all in vain as I know you wouldnt this time
So next time I come to your resting place
I shall sleep by your grave my darl and feel the peaceful sleep.
