We Said Goodbye

We sat quietly waiting for time to pass.
You looked at me full of questions in your eyes, you could have asked but you didn't.

I turned to you and smiled while enclosing the words 'i love u', i could have said it but i didn't.

We started talking about this and that except the matters of the heart, we could have said it but we didn't.

In my mind i reached out and held ur hand but in reality i sat there hoping ud reach out first, i could have felt ut warmth but i didn't.

At that moment we could have made memories.
At that moment we could have built something that could still be existing today.

My ride came, you stood up and hugged me, u could have said 'i ove u' and i could have said 'il miss u' but we just didn't.

WE JUST SAID GOODBYE
