Zoe St. George Poems

Smiling sun,
Spooky night,
I would go there and feel alright,
Bees are humming,
...

I gaze through the streets
Behind skyscrapers and through alleyways
Seeking anything that means something
In a world of distress
...

The Best Poem Of Zoe St. George

Meadow

Smiling sun,
Spooky night,
I would go there and feel alright,
Bees are humming,
Darkness is coming,
As I lay,
Eyes closed,
I know by now that I have dozed,
I dream a dream of happiness,
Nobody upset,
Always at their best,
When I wake,
I inhale the sweet air,
Trotting around without a care,
I wish I could stay here,
But sadly I must leave,
As I return I watch in disbelief,
People are caring less,
Everywhere I look it’s a mess,
Something needs to be done,
What has the world become,
At least I have my personal garden,
Where I can stay forever,
Far from all the madness,
Where there is no sadness,
I close my eyes filled with peace,
These problems will not cease,
But if I can stay here,
Where I’m filled with cheer,
The world can pass me by,
Me myself and I.
