A Broken Heart
Walking through the woods,
On a Summer night,
As the clouds played with the moon,
Thy heart sank for her sight.
Oh! Summer breeze this redolence thy know,
And why did the rustle of the leaves grow?
It's Mother; Oh! Mother why console thy heart,
Time heals all; let it rest apart.
Alas! these infinite glittering stars, Alas! this beauteous moon,
Could stir Love in the grimmest of soul.
Thy soul, sweet Mother is beyond repair,
It's long lost in the woods of despair.
Radiant, is she, than the Moonlight thee shower,
And Beautiful than ...
