Do not say Goodbye again!

Don't increase
my suffering, pain;
do not say goodbye again!
'I love to see you all the time, '
this says to you
my eyes' rain.
do not say goodbye again!
my eyes have seen the shocking scene
of going away
of many friends...
but calling them, requesting them
was all in vain.
my only Friend!
you ought to know this fact
that on my heart's realm
but you still reign
'i love to see you all the time'
this says to you my eyes' rain...
do not say goodbye again...

It's hard to say Goodbye and when it comes to family and friends then it becomes painful. Pictures can never replace the being there just like words can never replace true feelings! ! ! So YES

'i love to see you all the time'
this says to you my eyes' rain...
    do not say goodbye again...

Great write! ! ! (Report) Reply

good-bye is a painful word to hear. One should really understand what he is saying when he says good-bye. nice write (Report) Reply

It is so painful to say goodbye. This piece is steeped in love and compassion, a cry from the hearts that we don't want our dear ones to leave us. It's an emotional write. (Report) Reply

Very touching poem about the difficulty of separation.
Not knowing when we will see out friends or loved ones. (Report) Reply

Nice poem, Shahzia...saying goodbye or not saying Goodbye is immaterial...we always have our memories to fall back on and our work to keep us occupied... (Report) Reply

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
Dead and damned and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,
