It is in your actions, your words
Your backwards glance
In the moments of chance it manifests
Deep within a heaving breast, a sigh
dilating iris’ of the eye
a subtle arch of your lower back
a firmness rounding every thread
In heels tensing curving calves
Treading paths of silk, unsaid
One by one each step endured
Tacitly, your intensions heard
Helpless I transform, a vassal
Lured, my soul is not my own
Enticed, entranced, involved, in love
These feelings newly felt, unknown
In your absence, devoid of home
These feelings only just, unknown
silent, effortless, absent of touch
the pain unbearable, will I survive
to taste your lips and eat your words
and turn your curves in silky tango
exhaling moments deep, into your eyes
you're sweet… as mango butterflies
you're sweet as……
this is more complicated than some poems for me to quickly comment on as much as i feel i should. especially since you asked that i read it and your bio requests feedback. so i'll just say now that it is catchy. it has a pleasant flow to it (slowed a bit by my trying to follow the meaning at times) . i like the internal rhymes i think i found. in the last two lines, did you mean your or you're? thanks for sharing. i'll try to get back to it someday after my fun outdoors. been at computer too longgggggggggggg. :)
