My quest and my dream
==================
I’m a creature, human by name
One amongst the billions - on this earth’s surface.
My race is human being believing in truth,
My religion is humanity and my country is this earth.
The whole universe is a place for me
To roam all around freely with ease.
To be enlightened with wisdom
Is my quest and my dream.
I believe in love and peace
I can see Him in all of us.
In each and every human being -
The Almighty lives in.
Whom they all pray so hard -
To get His blessings and love,
You yourself is a part of Him-
That you should believe.
The day we all will realize this -
No quarrel, no cruelty, no extortion will exist.
We all are the blessed daughters and sons-
Of the supreme Almighty.
We all will again find this earth
As a place to dwell with peace.
Our only hymn we will have
The brotherhood, love and peace.

Absolutely brilliant poem on mankind, it makes me look forward to the day all this will come about. You have created a perfect world within this poem, Amitava. We are all puzzle pieces fitting together nicely, one day to be a masterpiece without cruelty, quarrels, or extortion. Love this poem totally - it is perfect! RoseAnn
A beautiful and breathtaking vision of what the world and the human race should be...and one day will be so again. -A Wonderful and spiritually uplifting write.
Reminiscent of those lines No man is an island entire of its selff. Each is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. Good write Amitava.
Amitava, so true.... when we are able to see Him in each one of our brethren, there 'll be no scope for enmity or bitterness! Lofty thoughts! !
