Sinners To The Victims Poem by Dave Alan Walker

Sinners To The Victims

Rating: 4.9

In a life of pain and wonder
nothing is what it seems
everything is shrouded by mystery
like a man not wanting to be found

Oh lord I listen and I listen
I try and I try
but there's always something
round the corner wanting to tell me more

Sinners to the victims
why can't everyone be normal
and lead a normal life

Their children's children
don't stand a chance
they started a chain
that can't be broken

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Sometimes victims are just too scared to do anything, so the sinner gets away to sin again.
If somebody tells me I try to help, but I can only do so much.

This poem is a nice piece. Meaningful thoughts. People oustside are passing a life full of nothing. Really, where are we going? We must start to learn and see new things in life. I agree there are so many injustice. Very well Dave

unfortunately in any form of pain little children are always caught in the cross fire and at times are blamed.. agreed with Mr. Thomas just being aware and saying some words either of kindness or to snap others out of ignorance, helps all victims

most sinners justify their actions as the acts of convenience and many of us do not know that we are the sinners. thought provoking poem..

The helplessness of the subject of this poem is painfully palpable. I really like the compassion and the intimation that we are all both the archers and the targets of the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, to quote Shakespeare. Well done.

The sinner should turn around and repent of their wicked ways and also ask Gods forgiveness just like the victims. When it rains or shines it falls on the just as well as the unjust. Victims do not grow weary of well doing for in due time you will reap just what you sow. Very inspiring write Dave.
