Dear Herant, I loved your poem. Short, sweet and skillfully crafted. From the first line itself the poem holds your attention. You have a real talent here, which you can hone still further to become a consummate poet. Wish you all the best for the contest. But you cannot predict anything in an Online Contest like this - which can be easily manipulated by cyber savvy poets! ! (See my poem Poem Hunter Contest Final just to have an idea of how a contest can be manipulated...) (Report) Reply

IF TIME IS NOT YOUR FRIEND THEN DYING WITH DIGNITY MIGHT HELP.
    HEAVY-DUTY THOUGHTS, I KNOW.
BUT THAT'S LIFE AND DEATH. (Report) Reply

When I read this poem it reminds me how time will continue even if you don't want it to; how I wish I could escape from the dying flower. It reminds me of how I wish I could change my past and how I can't change the past. I can only live with the decision I've made and the consequences for my actions.
Thank you for sharing this lovely poem with me
I look forward to reading more of your work
