Every time, they crush the bees to death and
Steal away their sweet honey in a trice;
And wax to make candles of immense size;
The Queen bee escapes to another land.

Set high are bee-hives on high-rise
Buildings and trees tall with good view;
Their eyes perceive see pre-dawn's approach
Uncovering flowery fields below;
...

From dawn to dusk, we toil so hard,
And flit from flow’r to flow’r, gathering nectar;
Men steal the honey to make big money;
There’s hardly any left in the hive!
