No reasons, future dreams have been dashed and thrown about

Whirlwinds spinning quickly, soap being flung on cars, one after
another, washing then rinsing each one going through the carwash
here on Signal Butte.

to it continually on a 45 rpm record, my sisters and I to-
gether, driving Dad crazy, he couldn't stand it.

Crossing oceans of my mind in the Navy, being
propelled by it's exquisite sleek body through
the water.

A man I call Dad is lying in a hospital bed, cut and bleeding
from an auto accident.
As I held his hand, I noticed how tired and scared he was,
