and whites for they are bent on bringing racism into
the equation.

Wounds scarring hearts, spirits and minds tend to reopen off
and on through the years, feeling fine, doing well, then all
of a sudden a thought, an image, picture, touches interior
memories that have been hidden deeply inside.

Accepting the universe of inner sanctity, taking this
mind, unfolding it's mystery into intellect.

So tenderly and purely life is settling within my being,

Wounded deeply, afraid to look about, bleeding profusely
within, healing unable to come about right now.

Listening to echoes and whispers of the future, taunting
