Kolkata's Bangla Express award winner poet A K Sarkar Shaon (In Bengali ? ?? ????? ????) was born on 6 February 1967 at Gopalpur village of Nabinagar PS under Brahmanbaria district of Bangladesh. His father late Md. Abdul Gani Sarkar was a government official and mother late Mrs. Saleha Gani Sarkar was an ideal housewife. The beginning of his educational life was at the Udbodhon High School in Jhalokati district city. He passed S.S.C. from Nabinagar Pilot High School in 1983 and H.S.C. from Nabinagar Government College in 1985. During in service of Bangladesh Air Force In 1991, he graduated from the Aeronautical Engineering Department of ATI (Airman Training Institute) with a first-class associate's degree. Then he was appointed as the instructor of that prestigious institute for 10 years from 1996. He graduated from Dhaka University in 1989 with a degree in English Literature, and in 2008 he obtained a Diploma degree in Information Technology from the University of Assumption, Thailand. He also holds a Honors bachelor's degree in law from a private university to. He has multiple Certificates of Experience in 'Food Safety Management' awarded by the International Finance Corporation under the World Bank with the collaboration of PRAN Group. His published books are four (04) ; Kotha-Kabbo (Lyric & Poetry) in 2019, Nirob Kothopokothon (Silent Dialogue) in 2020 Apon-Chaya (Own Shadow) in 2021 and novel Atal Jole Jolanjali (Sacrificed in Deep Water) Poetry books yet to be published are 'Love-delirium', 'Light-shadow', 'Peril-delirium', 'Chair and Thief' and 'Flute Player'. The children's poetry book is called 'Banka Chander Hasi' and the English poetry book is called 'Songs of Insane' and the story book's name 'Makeup Box'. 'Tumi Amar Sajanee Sen' 'Nari Tumi Anannya', 'Apan-Chaya', 'Dhannyi Meye', 'Ballyasmriti', 'Fathers Shadow' 'Kashmiri Shall', Kanthal' Picture of Father, 'The Motherland' etc. are his popular poems. Poet is leading happy conjugal life with his educationalist wife Nazma Ashekin Shaon. Their youngest daughter is studying medicine science at Russia's top medical research university 'Sechnov' in Moscow on a Russian government scholarship. Middle daughter is artist. She is studying Aerospace Engineering at Kalinga University (KiiT) in Bhubaneswar, India on a full scholarship from the Government of India. The eldest daughter studied at Dhaka University in Bangladesh, Tata University in Mumbai (TISS) on a full scholarship from the Government of India and Monas University in Melbourne, Australia on full scholarship. Retiring voluntarily from Bangladesh Air Force, he worked as a factory head of a leading company in Indo Sub Continent Pran Tasty Treat & Pran Mithai. He is now permanently residing at his residence 'Shaonaz Villa' in Uttarakhan in the capital city Dhaka of Bangladesh.)

যদি আসো আমার কুঞ্জে

সময় পেলে এসো বন্ধু
আমার কুঞ্জছায়!
পথ চেয়ে প্রহর গুনবো
বারো মাসই আশায়!

ফুলের মালা ফলের ডালা
সাজিয়ে রাখবো যতনে!
নানা বাহারী মনোহারী
চিন্তন ভাসছে মনে!

যদি আসো বৈশাখ মাসে
সেজে সবুজে লালে!
প্রণয় গাথায় খৈ ফোটাবো
আবেগের ছিপি খুলে!

কৃঞ্চচূড়ার মুকুট পড়াবো
তোমায় ভালোবেসে!
গলে পড়াবো গাঁদার হার
ডাগর চোখে ভেসে!

কচি তালের শাঁস খাওয়াবো
যদি আসো মধুমাসে!

খৈ দুধে আম খাওয়াবো
কাঁঠাল চিড়ায় গুড়;
কালো জামে ঠোঁট রাঙ্গাবো
মিষ্টি রসে ভরপুর!

আষাঢ়ে বর্ষায় হলুদ করবী
গুঁজে দিবো এলো খোঁপায়!
কদম ফুলের কবিতা শুনাবো
দোল খেতে খেতে দোলনায়!

শ্রাবণ ধারায় বৃষ্টির ছোঁয়ায়
নেচে উল্লাসে মাতবো!
পাতা পানিতে সবুজ ঘাসে
কাঁদা মাখামাখি খেলবো!

ভাদ্র মাসে দাওয়ায় বসে
খাবো তালের পিঠ পুরি!
আকাশপানে মেঘের ভেলা
খেলবে লুকোচুরি!

আশ্বিনের সাত সকালে
শিউলী কুড়াবো দু'জনে!
মন মাতানো স্নিগ্ধ বিকেল
স্মরনীয় রবে কাশবনে!

কার্তিকের হিমেল রাতে
কৃত্তিকা ও আর্দ্রাকে খুঁজবো;
ঘাসের গালিচায় শুয়ে শুয়ে
স্বপ্নের জাল বুনবো!

অগ্রহায়ণে চোখ জুড়াবে
গোলার কাঁচা সোনা ধান!
নবান্ন গাঁথা নাট্য কথকতা
সুর ছন্দে ভোলাবে প্রাণ!

পৌষে পার্বণে পিঠাপুলিতে
মন হবে চনমনে!
কাঁচা পিরিত কাঁপাবে ভিত
অভিভাবকের মনে!

কৈ চিংড়ির দোপিয়াজো
সর্ষের ঝোলে মাগুর!
বাহারী ব্যান্জনে বিলাসী ভোজে
তুলবে তৃপ্তির ঢেকুর!

মাঘী শীতে বাদ্য গীতে
বিমোহিত তনু মন!
চায়ের ধোঁয়ার কুন্ডলিতে
ঠোঁটে জাগবে শিহরণ!

ফাল্গুনী হাওয়ায় মন উড়বে
শর্ষের হলুদ ক্ষেতে;
সুর-লহরী ঝংকৃত হবে
বাসন্তী উৎসবে মেতে!

চৈতী রাতে পূর্ণিমার স্রোতে
ভাসবো জ্যোছনার অবগাহনে!
তনুর ফাগুন জ্বালবে আগুন
