mass of happenings, I stumble
and try to hold on to a sense of
reality; muted feelings clash with

Ever heard of a rose
crush its own petal?
Ever known of a heart
kill its own heartbeat?

Go on kill me more
With words of love
I’d rather die a thousand deaths
than live without one word from you…
...

I’ve felt your velvet voice
stroke me softly…
I’ve heard your gentle words
soothe my ravished heart….
...

I sit counting hours
watching you wake and stretch,
the tiny hand of time moves
turning my heart as it goes…
...

I wish i could gather the clouds
and pen my letters on them
they'd drift across to you..
droppin word by word in rain.
...

You are so cruel;
You take my heart
and leave me to die
far away from you.
