They see me yet they do not
They think they see me through
This plastic cover isn't all I've got
Gone invisible is my hue
...
Through the rainbows a dream I saw
Of us under the mistletoe
I wish only if I could draw
Like you and me on a paper boat
...
Outside Breeze
They see me yet they do not
They think they see me through
This plastic cover isn't all I've got
Gone invisible is my hue
I pretend my tears are happy rivers
And all my glumness is a mimic of clowns
But deep inside a young person shivers
For he's not ready to confront the town
In a water puddle I see myself
And realize what everyone sees
But every giant's and every elf's
Face is blurred by that outside breeze
But the targets do not end there
And the breeze is not just an individual
They're all of us, they're everywhere
What we want to see is what's visual
