The Longest Night

it was the time of winter
foggy nights with
outstunned atmosphere
stillness like there is no one living
one living on the earth
i was getting late for home
so i decided to take a shortcut
a very very scary shortcut
a jungle famous for it's hauntings
that how a family goes missing
with nothing left behind
but it's the option
and that's how my longest night started


the sound of dry leaves
like killing me softly
owl's rotating thier heads in a fashion
like something is going to happen
something really bad
snakes whispering behind the bushes
like they are saying to me to run
run for your dear life
and that's what i did
sprinted to my last breath
hoping to cross the forest
as far as i could
but the truth is
my longest has just started


seeing nobody behind you
at a place famous for something
no one wants to feel
is really a killing factor
what the hell i cried in joy
seeing spark of light coming
from the front
hoping that this will be the end
but get nothing rather than sadnessi lose all my hope
and praying for help
dear lord
i will be a good person
from now
but the reality is
praying is not going to hell
and the my longest night continues


walking ahead with a heart
running like a horse
unknowing of what's going to happen
will leave you in a state of stress
that will kill you slowly slowly
now i have two choices
either became a victim of heartattack
or just continue having positivity in mind
but it was not easy
as the night goes coolder
and darker like hell with full of ice
and it was just the starting of my longest night


resting under a tree with
negative thoughts killing u to the head
is what u certainly doesn't want
but i don't have a choice
taking a long breath and confidence
started walking again
crossing the bushes
trees and loneliness
i walked and i walked
until i reach my destination
and i can't tell u the feeling
i had that time
like i have achieved the biggest prize
of this world
or the biggest battle
of my life.
it seems that finally my longest comes to an end

but wait it was nothing like
of what i was thinking
i reached home have food
in quantity that i never had before
everything seems normal
from the atmosphere inside
to the atmosphere outside
after such a horrifying incident
it was not easy for me to sleep
but i tried
and it eventually seems possible
and suddenly a guy without a head
came in dream and said
that it was just starting of my longest night
