Sweet lover, your kiss sweeps me from reality
I take my rightful place in your arms
We hold true to our first notion
This is love; there is nothing more we can do

In the corner of your eye I saw my life
A future weaved into motion
Here is where I will die
In your hands I surrender

We will not fight the instincts
We will not tell them of our revelations
In the night, in the secrecy of our sheets
We will pour our love out

I will write you into the stars
I will call you Forever
And you will know me as Truth

We abandon the cruelty of mankind
We will care not what is said of our love
For we alone carry its wonder

Let their jealous tongues spew poison
