Grey skies everywhere,
Hanging overhead, with such dread,
The wind cuts through you,
The rain lashes against your face,
...

The pallet has many colours,
Like you & I,
Many shades like you & I
Many tones like you & I

Grey Skies

Grey skies everywhere,
Hanging overhead, with such dread,
The wind cuts through you,
The rain lashes against your face,
Stinging your skin, that acid rain you must embrace,
The elements surround us, the wind still blows,
When will we see blue skies, only heaven knows,
Still the wind does blow, but the grey skies never go,
In the UK it's said to be grim up north,
Where the grey clouds move back and forth,
Summer is upon us, where is the sun? ,
We want to go out & have some fun,
Where is the sun? ,
On holiday in some exotic land,
Omitting it's golden rays onto golden sand,
Why can't you return to our green & pleasant land,
When I awake from my slumber,
I realise I was woken by the thunder,
Another day, a day of grey.
