As the sun beats
ultra-violet rays
whip
her soft-pink
petals

She begins
to bend
twist
fold
weave

Each individual
wrapping
brings a rusty
golden
brown
decay
from the edge
to the velvet
touch
center
where they meet

With thorns
in her sides
she collides
with deathly
tired
boredom

The process begins
each petal
waits its turn,
