Ever since its destined cock-crow
-A few calendar flits back from now-
Of the day that broke, in vigor azurine
When the last few drizzles of that summer’s rain
down the clouds, dripped, to kiss and sedate
a rejuvenated earth; announcing its retreat-
that as a hurricane to end the season’s scene,
with a bang, from nowhere we rushed in,
