Slow and serene when I walked at the jheel1,
Wearing on my visage a pleasant smile,
Relaxed to core and deep-set ease to feel,
For, weary thoughts I'd left behind a mile.

None my smile with fears,
Nor my cheers in life,
Nor yet shed tears,

Not least a straw lowly treat—
As dust under treading feet,
A peck might fly off, fall in eyes,
Make them bleary, better be wise.

Thinking was I of this newest scare
That has stolen away people's dare—
The deadly virus COVID nineteen
For which we may soon find a vaccine.

Tell heart never to sigh,
And eyes never to cry,
This world's world, for, it moves,
Love too moves on, no why.
...

O to leave not so carbon footprint,
Nor yet whatsoever a life print,
Should ye mind not at all
Here is a hint nigh small:

She who hath answer next to none,
Yet has answer to every question,
She who tries to make no impression,
Still makes a long lasting impression.
...

All seems well and divine
In this homeland of mine,
Secured seems my today
Thanks parental love in a way,

To feel warm and what a way!
To me, an idle mind's way
O to while away a whole day,
