I have something in my heart
I don't know what it is
And I don't know where to start

My pillow
Carries my tears
My mind
Has all my fears
...

I sleep in the dark
To hide all my tears
No longer filled
With little girl fears
...

I dream of the moon and the stars
But alas they can't be mine
Like chasing an endless horizon
My heart untiringly yearns
...

In shadows cast by memories past,
A weight remains, though love may last,
The fragments of what's been and gone,
Echoes that refuse to be outgrown.

Somewhere between the lines of us,
You and me, together but apart.
Won't you take a glance at me?
But again a sigh to myself,
