Astrid Lampe Comments

1. Astrid Lampe (born December 22,1955 in Tilburg, the Netherlands) , Dutch poet, actor and director, lives and works in Utrecht. She made her debut as a poet in 1997 with the collection Rib, which was nominated for the 'C.Buddingh’-prijs'. Five more poem collections appeared after Rib.

2. For Spuit je ralkleur (‘Spray your RAL colour’) she received the Ida Gerhardt Poetry Prize in 2005 and the 'Schrijversprijs der Brabantse Letteren' in 2007. She mentors students of the Department of Language and Image at Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam.
