She bows at deaths knees
I scream with selfish pleas
No not now I beg at my feet
Withering cold my impending fears
...

I see the lights flickering
The stars
And their majesty
They bow to no one

A Forgotten Angel

She bows at deaths knees
I scream with selfish pleas
No not now I beg at my feet
Withering cold my impending fears
Neither strong nor bold and my tragically angry tears

A fading light a broken spark
Destinies fight, a soul fading into dark
A lost soul, a withered heart
Deaths cruel goal, no beginning and no new start

Angry blowing wind, a cold metal slab
A fading breath like a constricting bind a cold fierce jab
No hope of saving a broken angel
No name on a tombstone covered with engraving her life on a string set to dangle

Into death she slips, good bye I whisper
Old memories replay of her barking like old photographic clips I will not forget I will always miss her.
