A Fallen Star Poem by austin heiner

A Fallen Star

I see the lights flickering
The stars
And their majesty
They bow to no one
Watching the world
Watching its pain
Its chaos
Its destruction
They fall from their slumber
Falling fast no chance of stopping
They disappear
No trace
No memory of them
Just a lost flicker
Gone from the beautiful
Night sky goodbye.
