The Darkness

They left me here alone,
Stranded in the dark.
I can't find which way to go.
Then, I see a spark.

Suddenly, the lights come on
Then, I start to fall and crash,
Because of what I see in front of me.
These things in there turn to see the bash.

Their eyes stare deep into mine.
I can tell they don't belong here,
So I hide as quickly as I can
And go to the door to press my ear.

The thing that I here next
Is only but my name.
I'm scared out of my mind,
Those strange people who brought me here are to blame

I don't know why I did this,
But I stood and opened the door,
And one look in their eyes,
I fell straight through the floor.

Where I was next,
I don't remember at all,
But in that big room,
I felt quite small.

I found a light in the room.
The room was made of glass.
The handle wouldn't budge.
Then I remembered my knife of brass.

I found a way out,
And killed those creatures above.
I got to the door,
Then have it a shove.

It creaked open just a crack.
I'm not even sure which way to go.
I looked up at the sky,
And saw something coming down slow.

I realized I was on a different planet,
When the people got out.
'Get out of here before they kill you.'
I want to shout.

'Go. Don't die. None of us need to.'
I wish I said it better, but I cried.
Then, I blacked out,
And soon after, I died.
