His Lies - Poem by Autumn Svendsen

The love of my life, walked away today,
I can't believe he didn't stay.
When I look into his eyes,
I suddenly think about all his lies.
And then I look down at my shoes,
'Cause ask I think about is how much I love you.

With all this love and no one to hold,
My heart gives out, it's numb and cold.
I try to think of anything,
But it still hurts, still stings.
I've gave him so many tries,
But it always end with lies.

Very good poem. I can relate to this poem. I know how is to have the one you care about just walk away and not come back. Let him go. If he walked, then he can't have been much. Stay strong (Report) Reply
