The Plight Of The Parasites

Lone-trodden are these waves,
Well-blurred by their own kind,
Into the infinity!
Lost forever,
In these ugly waters,
Sans freedom,
Sans identity!

I often see them
Getting drenched in the rains..
Absorbing the filth of mankind,
And loosing their shades in the dark!

But...
I even see them
Dancing with the winds,
And sparkling in the lightning
They rise to acquire great heights
For refueling the fire,
Long exhausted..
And revolt with nature
To break free..
Only if they knew,
That nothing except failure was written
In their destiny!

Hidden are the scars
Inscribed upon them by history..
And so are their woes,
Their pains and griefs!
They remain silent spectators of events,
And yet speaks nothing..
As if left choiceless by nature!

But deep down,
The fire within them echoes:
"When the sun will burn out,
When the moon will fade away,
And life merges with death!
We shall be free!
We shall be happy! "
