Bethany Bales

Bethany Bales Poems

I, breathe in deeply as the blade sinks in.
Scarlet blood drips during this pleasant sin.

I try hard not to do this each and, every night.
...

My arms feel empty with out your embrace.
For everything you did, was done with such grace.
We both were heart broken, when I moved far away.
But in my heart, you always will stay.
...

Where did it go
that way that I felt has left me so cold.
A sun shining bright.
Never in fright.

Once I Cut

I, breathe in deeply as the blade sinks in.
Scarlet blood drips during this pleasant sin.

I try hard not to do this each and, every night.
But how can I stop when this blood feels so right?

The cold metal blade agianst my pale skin.
Blood flows slowly, as it, goes right in.

They must never find my cuts, I do it 'cause this hate.
They won't ever know until it will be all to late.

My Head is screaming as I slam the door shut.
Now it is time to make very final cut.

You say I'm so selfish to end my life like this.
Since My knifes my best friend I get all pissed.

Now I have pushed all my pain away, I have no more fears.
Now I lie here silent finally, without tears.
