If I Fall

You've been here for me through thick & thin

When I feel left out & lonely, I look at you & see no end

No matter what I go through, no matter how badly the problem is,
whether it's a fall or a break

I see you standing over me to pick me up & keep me awake

No one understands why I feel the love that I feel for you

They may never understand but honestly, no one has too

I know that the love that we have is real

It's the amount of emotions you bring out in me, it's how you make me feel

Sometimes I wonder if you really understand how much I care

The possibly of losing you, the thought that I cannot bare

I use to hope & dream of this fairytale coming to life because of how I feel

But at the age I'm at now I can understand the difference between what's fake & what's real

In the beginning I use to wonder if I could fall and not wake up

Wondering if you'd be there to pick me up

Wondering if I ever let go because of fear

As I'm walking away, will it be your loving voice that I hear

Looking at you and smiling regretting my choice with every tear

The passion from this unforgettable love could never take me away,
I'm making that clear

I wake up every morning with a smile on my face

So many people who you past up for me, what an adrenaline race

You promised to me that you'll be here for me even when you're gone

All the time that we have to together we'll make feel long

I know this shouldn't be a question but if I break or if I fall,

Will you always be the one that I call?

I can answer that because you're always there to secure them all
