Why do I get so blue
Every time I start
Thinking of you?
Maybe it's because
When I think of you
It's just not the same
As being with you. So . . .
I think of you
Both day and night
Or anytime you're out of my sight.
Especially at night
When the moon is bright
I begin to realize
That you've gone
Home for the night. So . . .
Later that night
When I'm home all alone
Your number's the first
That runs through my phone. So . . .
When I wake up the next morning
It's nice to see
That when I pick a flower
And hold it next to me
That in my heart
I can see
