I Think Of You - Poem by Brian Maxwell

Let me sweep
your feet off the ground
for as long as we're together
they'll never touch down Yes
I think of you
as more than a friend
and I hope some day
our hearts will blend As long as the birds
continue to fly
and the trees reach
into the sky
my love for you
will never die
