let your muse loose
folow your nose..
fear not

Grace, a very sparkling jewel,
a ring of gold, brings day out of
night, sweet from bitter, glory
out of shame and turns pebble

How slight,
The petals of
A poppy flowering;
So much like us, beautiful, yet

Will my verse reach your ear
can your eye stay the course
listening, then writing my verse I awake, content until the next time, the chords at my finger tips drift back and forth into a song.

Convinced that poetry is an aural art form, best read aloud, to create a unique 'as is moment' between poet and listener so much of Strand's anthology is published on youtube under his pen name ichthyschiro (along with some of his artwork) and with his short forms @strandpoet on twitter.
