He Took You Away

He took You away

God hit me were it me were it hurts the most
He knew we were so close
He knew you were the only thing I needed
He took you away even after I pleaded

“that’s all you got? ”
is what I used to say
and the battle we fought,
slowly fade away

he filled me with pain
just to prove himself right
and now I take the blame,
of something that wasn’t even my fight

now, he made it mine
he took you away
without giving me a single sign
and all I had left to do was pray

You were the only thing I could call mine
He tarred us apart and made himself shine
We once thought we couldn’t be broke
But now reality has woke

we always thought we’ll be together forever
and no one would take us apart
but we didn’t know he was too clever,
after all he made you part

even though you’re gone
you must know, my love will never end
and all our times together were run-on
and someday that hole in my heart will mend

your memories will always remain
your voice will stay clear
“sweety please have no fear,
remember courage is what you have to gain”

I wasn’t ready
To see you leave
All I did was stay steady
While god took you away as a thief
I miss you,
And I think you know
That he didn’t think this through

I miss the way you took care of me when I had the flue
And how you always tied my shoe

I miss the way you held me in your arms
And you were always in alarm

I miss the stories we read
The love you spread

The tears I cried
While you by my side

I cant bear it anymore
Cause in moments my heart will be tore
All I got to do is remember
All the times you were so tender

But enough about me
What about you’?
Do you miss me?
Do you wish I could be with you?

As long as you’re happy
I’ll promise I won’t be sappy
But you should no I’m sad
And it hurts really bad

I’m sorry for all the times I let you down
And all the times I provided you a frown
I’m sorry for the times when I didn’t give enough
And when I was rude or tough

I hate to see you leave my side
And not enough have I already cried
But before you leave for your journey,
“ofe I want to accompany in your journey!

I know he will take you far far away
And that I wont be able to see you night or day
So give me this one time
To show you what I want

Honey, please release your suitcase
And look at me in the face
Its not your time
Not your time to climb

Heaven can wait
Maybe eight
Maybe ten more years
Give us time to save up all the tears

Gods not so clever anymore
I’d like to make a pact with yours
Take me instead,
Less tears will be shed

I’ll wait for his response
One year in this nonce
My family cant take it,
take me in exchange for her return

I’m packing for the trip
It would me more easy with a script
Im scared
But I already had enough moments shared

Well here I go
Taking you back
Please say I miss them though
Please erase my track

“why are you ding this? ”
he took you away
I’ll take you back

He knew you were the only thing I needed
Yet he took you away even after I pleaded
