caitlyn harris Poems

When we're together I feel wild
I'm no longer that shy, lonely child
I'm not that quiet or that small
You make me feel rather tall
...

Sweet, peaceful music
playing in your head

Playing all the time
...

I thought you loved me, but I guess not
You left me alone and distraught
I still love you, just you see
I'll be hoping someday you'll return to me
...

my love for you is a torrent of flame
burning on a very dry plain

my love for you is an eagle soaring free
...

Spring flowers disappear
But only till another year
They rot and die
but do not cry
...

you are the glue that holds us together
i know our friendship will last forever
your my best friend i love you to death
we'll always be friends beyond my last breath
...

I Love You

When we're together I feel wild
I'm no longer that shy, lonely child
I'm not that quiet or that small
You make me feel rather tall
I love you with all of my heart
I hope we'll never be torn apart
