Narcotic Daylight

At what moment in your life had you dreamed me into being?
When did you pick up the hated habit that left your lips cold and bruised,
Who ignored your plea?
At what moment did you turn, to weightless me?
Medicated words and involuntary gestures of love are all I had to offer
My being was enough
Your existence proved it all.
I lifted you up, as you helped me down gently enough
So I didn't fall.
What an invincible pair we were
Equpped with smiles and lethal injections
of commpassion, and intoxicating shots of adoration.
