Comments about Charley Bone
We are now a graveyard of ‘what could have been'
I imagined a crackling fire glowing sunset
spitting embers that settle as wisps of ash
Perhaps a warm fluffy rug, red I think
The smell of air freshener and fresh air intertwining
the smells of home:
wherever you've left your hearts key.
You're a firework
frame by frame particles of explosion
gravitating towards me
the light blinds the eyes
ruins the ebony sky and casts shadows
ruins the dark night
the way light always does.
