My sun sets early today
The skies are forever grey
The days drag on forever
My true feelings I must sever

I surrender my heart,
It has been broken to many times,
It has been victim to too many crimes,
Hurt so many just to have it fall apart.

My life is coming to an end
Because my feelings will not bend

My love for you is still strong
...

Things are taken that will never be replaced
Where my heart once was there is an empty space
That emptiness will never will filled again
Our hearts used to beat together like young wrens

I can feel the final act coming near
That drum beating louder and louder
I am not afraid anymore, I have not fear
The drum beats faster and faster
...

He remembers it all,
All the people who had said
They cared, but did they really?
...

The gun glimmers against the moonlight
He tries to contemplate what this life means
Maybe his heart will mend if he leaves this world tonight
Through the window the moonlight makes the gun gleam
...
